Ready-made plans

Lonavla itineraries

One day or two β€” these plans are tested, realistic and crowd-aware. Each includes drive times, entry fees and the best hours to be at each spot.

Before you start

Three rules that make any Lonavla plan work

  1. Start early. The big viewpoints and Bhushi Dam are best before 9 am β€” after that, crowds and traffic take over.
  2. Group by geography. The viewpoints sit on one Khandala-side loop, the caves on another, the forts on a third. Don't zig-zag across town.
  3. Match the season. In monsoon, skip the fort treks and lean into waterfalls; in winter, do the opposite. See the best-time guide.
